Behind the Glass at Vino & Gallery Bar – Birmingham Restaurant Week 2021 – Winter Edition

New quarantine hobby: mixology! In our new ‘Behind the Glass’ segment presented by BRW sponsor Tito’s Handmade Vodka, we will be showcasing delicious cocktails that you can order at our participating BRW 2021 restaurants OR you make at home. First up, we have Vino & Gallery Bar’s Peppermint Mocha White Russian. Here is the recipe for the perfect cocktail to sip on while staying cozy by the fire.

Peppermint Mocha White Russian

Ingredients:

1 oz. of Tito’s Handmade Vodka
0.5 oz. of Kahlua
1 shot of Peppermint Schnapps
0.5 cup of Half & Half
Pinch of Cocoa Powder

Instructions:

  1. Grab your cocktail mixer (or the closest thing you have to one) and fill it with ice.
  2. Add the Tito’s, Kahlua, Peppermint Schnapps, and Half & Half to your mixer.
  3. Shake until frosty. This could take a few seconds.
  4. Strain into a glass.
  5. Add Cocoa Powder on top.
  6. Take a matchstick, toothpick, or small straw to swirl the cocoa powder (to make it look extra fancy).
  7. Enjoy!
