Birmingham Restaurant Week 2021 Restaurant, Food Truck & Bar Application
Birmingham Restaurant Week ‘Winter Edition” (BRW) 2021 is scheduled to begin Thursday, Jan. 14 and run through Sunday, Jan. 31! NOTE: Normally BRW is a 10-day program, but due to COVID-19, we have added an additional 8 days of “Second Helpings” in an effort to maximize sales for area businesses and to allow patrons more opportunity to frequent Birmingham’s best food and drink scene during BRW.
Organizers of BRW want to support the local culinary and beverage industry by encouraging guests to continue to order great local food and drinks during BRW via Curbside, Grab & Go or Dine-In. In August 2020, an estimated 108,000 meals were served, generating more than $2.1 million in total gross revenue to participating restaurants.
We know support and patronage of your business is important now more than ever. BRW’s goal is to help our local restaurants and bars survive and to help protect their livelihood and future.
This year, we are adding bars and food trucks to BRW and are also adding the ability for all BRW participants to tailor their menus and price points to highlight new specialties and to allow more members to participate. We will now offer family-style meal options in addition to the traditional prix-fixe menu lunch and dinner options ranging from $5 to $50. It is our hope that this flexibility will prove to be a more successful Restaurant Week for you.
Participation is welcomed from local restaurants, cafes, food trucks and bars throughout metro Birmingham, including the Cities of Birmingham, Mountain Brook, Vestavia, Homewood, Hoover, Trussville and other neighboring ones.
Our 18-day event will be promoted in local and regional media through extensive social media campaigns, print, digital and traditional media. We will also have BRW postcards available for you to distribute to guests in advance of the event and during to help promote it. We are confident that BRW will benefit your establishment and are committed to your success.
PLEASE NOTE – We are ONLY accepting applications from locally owned and operated restaurants, cafes, bars and food trucks based in Birmingham, Alabama. (No national chains)
Participation Level & Registration Fee:
- Dinner, Lunch & Breakfast Participation – $300 (about $17 a day)
- Dinner & Lunch Participation – $300 (about $17 a day)
- Breakfast, Dinner & Lunch Participation – $300 (about $17 a day)
- Dinner Participation – $250 (about $14 a day)
- Lunch Participation – $200 (about $11 a day)
- Breakfast Participation – $200 (about $11 a day)
- Bar Participation – $200 (about $11 a day)
- Food Truck Participation – $200 (about $11 a day)
